For over six years, Nigerian education advocate and social innovator Bisola Alabi has remained committed to one mission: creating better access, opportunities, and visibility for women in education, technology, leadership, and artificial intelligence across Nigeria and Africa.

Driven by her passion for female-focused advancement, Bisola is building an educational platform designed to equip young girls and adult women with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving tech and AI ecosystem.

Her growing impact has continued to earn international recognition.

Bisola was recently selected as a Social Initiative and Change Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, where she also received support to scale her social impact efforts focused on women and education.

She additionally won the Social Impact Fund at the Harvard Innovation Labs, sponsored by NAVAAB, further validating the relevance and potential of her initiative within global education and innovation spaces.

Her work in education leadership also earned her an Education in Leadership Award, presented to leaders who have made significant contributions to the education sector. The recognition reportedly helped reduce her tuition by 90%, allowing her to continue expanding her work and advocacy.

Beyond Harvard, Bisola also emerged winner of the Faculty of Education Hive Innovation Competition, reinforcing her growing reputation as one of the young Nigerian women actively pushing boundaries in education and social innovation.

At a time when conversations around gender inclusion in technology and AI are becoming increasingly important globally, Bisola Alabi’s work reflects a broader movement focused on ensuring African women are not left behind in the future of innovation.

For her, the mission goes beyond programs and awards; it is about changing access, changing narratives, and creating systems where more women can confidently participate in shaping the future.
