Eterna Plc has announced the appointment of Dr. Jude Nwaulune as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective 14 May 2026.

The appointment follows the resignation of Mr. Olumide Adeosun, who officially stepped down from his role as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on 13 May 2026.

In its statement, the board expressed sincere appreciation to Mr. Adeosun for his leadership, commitment, and valuable contributions to the company throughout his tenure, while wishing him success in his future endeavors.

The board congratulated Dr. Jude Nwaulune on his appointment, noting his 19 years of experience across sales, marketing, business development, logistics, and operations in Nigeria’s downstream energy sector.

About Dr. Jude Nwaulune 

Dr. Jude Nwaulune holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, graduating with Second Class Upper Division honours.

He also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism with distinction in Public Relations and Advertising from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism.

In further pursuit of academic and professional development, he earned a Master of Science in Marketing Communications and a PhD in Strategic Marketing Management from Babcock University.

Dr. Nwaulune is a member of several professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.

He also belongs to the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Management, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, and the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development.

His activities over the past 12 years have included growth initiatives, operational efficiency improvements, petroleum retail expansion, LPG penetration, supply chain management, and nationwide distribution operations in the industry, according to the board.

Prior to his appointment as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Eterna Plc, Dr. Nwaulune served as Managing Director of Rainoil Logistics Services Limited.
